Grants on offer to help social landlords work with tenants
Tuesday 7th July 2009The Tenant Services Authority is offering social landlords small grants to help them develop ‘local deals’ with their tenants.
The grants, of up to £9,000, will be available to housing associations, councils, and arm’s-length management organisations to improve services in response to particular local needs.
TSA chief executive Peter Marsh said: ‘We are really keen to support new and innovative schemes and identify best practice which people can learn from.
‘We know from our National Conversation that local priorities vary from place to place and we want to support landlords to design and tailor services to meet the specific needs of local areas.’
