Loughborough's 3M Healthcare a safe bet for gold

Saturday 10th January 2009

A firm has won a gold medal for its health and safety.
The award has been given to 3M Healthcare, in Morley Street, Loughborough, by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (Rospa).
It is the third consecutive year the company, which makes health care products, has won the top award. It will be presented at a ceremony in Birmingham this month.
David Rawlins, of Rospa, said: “3M has shown a commitment to protecting the health and well-being of its employees and others. We hope other businesses and organisations will follow its lead.”
3M’s safety manager Lynn Rigby said: “It reflects our determination to always put safety first.”
