Tests for Housing Paper
Wednesday 27th August 2008London Councils have called for local authorities to be given greater control over housing allocations.
The group also suggest a two year stamp duty holidays to help households into home ownership and more flexible shared ownership deals that would let people buy as little as 5% of their homes.
The group also proposed eight policy tests to judge whether the green paper would meet the capitals Housing Need.
These included asking whether the legislation would increase the number of social tenants in employment.
